Here we go!

We are Julius Richard, Zoilo Lobera and Nabil Musa -artists and facilitators, plus the latter is also Iraq Upper Tigris Waterkeeper (IUTW). We have teamed up to create, produce and deliver a community arts education programme campaigning for the health of the Upper Tigris River Basin and all our rivers.

Through the use of FILM, PUPPETRY, MASKS and the APPLIED DRAMA tools, we want to engage with the local and wider community in an attempt to highlight our relationship with the environment.

Luckily, there is a strong support team enriching the collaboration. They are: Gina Musa, Barham Ismael and Anna Bachmann. Furthermore, we could neither do this without their support: Iraq Upper Tigris Waterkeeper and Nature Iraq.

Although different, this project draws from a previous community arts experience in Kurdistan. You can read about it here: www.kurdishmaskandpuppet.blogspot.com or check our previous FB group: KURDISH mask and puppet PROJECT

As before, we would love you to join us on this journey and suggest, comment, like/dislike, question or/and support the development.
