We made it!

After two months of endless email and Skype negotiations between, Suleymany (Iraq), Santander (Spain) and London (UK), we have managed to be all three together in the same space.

Furthermore, we have also managed to agree on a working schedule which will hopefully give us some structure to realise the programme we are creating. Thus, after few more meetings, we will soon hit the road with our cameras following our antagonists (Naza and Zaza) as they embark on an exploratory journey towards the origins.

Luckily, the programme keeps raising support, from you reader, and on this occasion, from the Ministry of Culture and Youth (Suleymany Directorate of Media, Kurdistan Regional Government), who want to produce a documentary of the process.

And while for some of you, Santa may be now coming down the chimney, in Suly we have just had a nice storm, followed by the call to prayer, which surely means is time for bed (see pic below for the 'not happy with Baba Noel' people).

Happy festivities for all,

The Waterkeeper Team .
